2. What is your favorite verse, book or story in the Bible? Why?
There are other verses that have spoken more powerfully into my life, but for a favorite this wonderful promise of all things being put right when Jesus returns is something I come back to again and again in preaching and in personal reading
3. What is your favorite movie? Why?
I don’t watch many movies these days, but “The Matrix” was very clever and well-shot.
4. Who are three people you admire?
Colin Gunton (my doctoral adviser who made orthodox theology credible again in English universities), Natalie Collins (a domestic violence survivor who works to stop domestic violence and empower women), and a young woman I met several years ago who was risking her life to preach the gospel.

My first degree was in theoretical physics.
