1. Where did you grow up?

The north of Jamaica.

2. What is your favorite Bible verse, book or story? Why?

Philippians 1:21.

I treasure this partly because it was given to me at my baptism as my theme text.

“The Sound of Music.”

The music, the scenery and the intriguing storyline are awesome and unforgettable.

4. Who are three of the people you admire?

Dudley and Daisy Callam (my parents) and Horace Russell (a Baptist minister).

5. What is one little-known fact about you?

Few things give me more contentment than to spend a few hours in a great theological library.

Editor’s note: Callam’s profile appeared previously on EthicsDaily.com. It is being reposted in advance of the Baptist World Alliance’s 2015 World Congress to be held July 22-26, 2015, in Durban, South Africa. EthicsDaily.com will be providing extensive coverage of this gathering of global Baptists.
