'The Disturbances' Documentary Now Available Online

"The Disturbances" release in digital format marks a new step in film distribution for the organization.

"The Disturbances" is now available to stream online via Vimeo On Demand.

The feature-length film shares a previously untold story of how Christian missionaries and local pastors saved lives amid a 1966 tribal genocide in Nigeria.

The ninth documentary produced by EthicsDaily.com, it has been available for purchase on DVD since its release in September 2016.

The film was co-produced/directed by Robert Parham and Cliff Vaughn of EthicsDaily.com. Parham, who died in March, witnessed some of the events as a seventh-grade missionary kid in Nigeria.

A companion book is also available in paperback and e-book formats.

The book, written by Parham, follows the film's script and includes additional stories and details not included in the documentary for the sake of time.

"The Disturbances" release in digital format marks a new step in film distribution for the organization.

"We hope and believe this digital option will expand the film's reach," said Vaughn, "especially in places like Nigeria and the U.K. where the historical links are most obvious."

The documentary can be rented for three-days (72 hours) for $3.99 per viewing period.

The film continues to screen at various events. For information on screening opportunities, contact producer Cliff Vaughn at 615-720-7577 or cliff@ethicsdaily.com.
