Lake Charles, Louisiana.

2. What is your favorite verse, book or story in the Bible? Why?

Hebrews 11:1

It speaks to the challenges of growing up in a single-parent home and pastoring my home church.

3. What is your favorite movie? Why?

"Ten Commandments."

It inspired my Bible reading at an early age.

4. Who are three people you admire?

Magnolia Armstrong Tolbert (my mother), Matilda Ann Edwards Tolbert (my wife) and R.B. House (my former pastor who I succeeded after his 44 years as pastor of Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Lake Charles, Louisiana).

5. What is one little-known fact about yourself?

I am actually a shy person and do not like speaking before assemblies.
