1. Where did you grow up?

Jefferson City/Holts Summit, Missouri.

2. What is your favorite Bible verse, book or story? Why?

One of my favorite stories is from John 20 - Mary's encounter with the resurrected Jesus at the tomb and her subsequent announcement to the other disciples.

The first proclaimer of the good news, according to John, was a woman!

3. What is one of your favorite movies? Why?

"Spanglish."

While I am not an Adam Sandler fan generally, I love the mother/daughter relationships and interaction.

4. Who are three of the people you admire?

Diana Butler Bass, Barbara Brown Taylor and Molly T. Marshall, among so many other amazing women.

5. What is one little known fact about yourself?

I took piano lessons for about 10 years and still can't accompany hymns - through no fault of my excellent piano instructor Nathalie Cross.
