1. Where did you grow up?

York, a small community in west Alabama.

2. What is your favorite Bible verse, book or story? Why?

Proverbs 3:5-6.

It promises not only divine guidance for life's journey but also assurance that the journey will be meaningful.

3. What is your favorite movie? Why?

"Casablanca."

It reminds me that despite the human tendency to do whatever it takes to survive, in the end, most people will choose to do what is right and good.

4. Who are three of the people you admire?

Aside from Jesus, I admire Winston Churchill from history and Jimmy Carter.

5. What is one little known fact about yourself?

I am a Kentucky colonel, an honorary designation bestowed upon citizens of the Commonwealth, but one that reminds me of Camelot days in the Bluegrass State.
