EthicsDaily.com to Host Live Netcast on Small Churches

Using a relatively new technological platform from Google, called Hangouts On Air, EthicsDaily.com will broadcast live, on its website, a discussion featuring panelists in Texas and Virginia.
A live discussion on the topic of small churches will be "netcast" on EthicsDaily.com next week. The show, the first of its kind for EthicsDaily.com, will take place Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m. ET.

Using a relatively new technological platform from Google, called Hangouts On Air, EthicsDaily.com will broadcast live, on its website, a discussion featuring panelists in Texas and Virginia.

Zach Dawes, former small-church pastor and now managing editor of EthicsDaily.com, and Chuck Warnock, pastor of Chatham Baptist Church in Chatham, Va., will join EthicsDaily.com's media producer, Cliff Vaughn, online for the conversation.

Anyone can watch the netcast, planned for 10 to 12 minutes in length, on the main page of EthicsDaily.com, in the video hub (near the bottom-right of the page). After the netcast, the content will be available as a recorded video.

Dawes and Warnock will address small-church expectations of pastors, avoiding burnout in the small-church pastorate, and advice for those ministers working in a small-church environment.

In addition to implementing documentary and video production in 2005, EthicsDaily.com has been steadily moving in the direction of supplying people of faith with more online videos.

EthicsDaily.com began producing in February 2012 "Skype interviews" – roughly five-minute conversations, conducted via Skype, with goodwill Christians. The conversations feature experts working in different sectors, all across the globe, to advance the common good.

Nearly 60 Skype interviews are now housed on EthicsDaily.com's Vimeo channel. They include discussions with experts about prison ministry, beauty pageants, the Korean church, Thomas Jefferson, the church and technology, and much more.
